1.27.12 star bangled
Today’s forecast is LHF (low Hermes front). I broke out the ever tricky to polish Tiffany’s stars I used to wear in college.
Left to right : Elsa X, trio of viv + ingrid id bracelets, 2 Tiffany’s silver stars and Hermes multi colored and white bangle.
Side note: my mom just told me about http://www.luxury-scarves.com where there are loads of Hermes scarf patterns. Since the bracelets are based on the scarves, I’m going to do some research and see if I can come up with the names of the ones I don’t know.

Clic Clacs
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not the kind of girl who says no to some Clic Clacs. They have their time and place. With my color selection, that time and place is usually SF Giants baseball season. A girl’s got to coordinate with her home team, ya know? I have one skinny Orange/Silver and 3 fat gold trim with black, orange, and cream.
The thing is, they are the easiest to knock off. I don’t trust them on ebay. I’ve found multiple fake Clic Clac sites, and if I wasn’t concerned about where my credit card number might end up, I would consider buying a couple $60 Clic-Clacs. But, well, I am concerned where my credit card might end up. But if you aren’t, just search Hermes +Clic Clac. Tell me how it goes.
1.25.12 orange you glad
1.24.12 back from sick!
1.13.12 What is black and blue and white all over?
1.11.12 black gloss
I’m wearing the Elsa Peretti black lacquer earrings from the same collection as the bracelet. Feeling kind of matchy matchy today. The bangle is wood painted in black lacquer and made in Japan. Paired with the “Ripped off by Chanel” bracelet from JKC. I believe the story behind it is: JKC was consulted by Chanel regarding her signature scrim shaw style, and then Chanel ripped her off. This is probably her most well known bracelet.
1.10.12 simple safari
1.9.12 red for the day
The black perfume bottle bangle is so hard to match with other bangles. But you’ll see the tiny red accents in some of the bottles that I tried to bring out with my other bangles.
From left to right: Hermes perfume bottle bangle, a cheapo plastic red bracelet from who knows where, red coral (maybe? this is a guess. Could very well be plastic as well.) Another wood and rhinestone bracelet from India, hermes red caleche.
