Today’s bangles: black Clic-Clac, two little Native American cuffs of mine from back in the day, my lucky figa charm bracelet, and the Fontaine de Bartholdi skinny bangle.
Well, yesterday was a rather sad day. I received the first group of my father’s possessions. Including his pantry items (so much spaghetti! He loved grocery shopping and apparently always wrote pasta on the shopping list), his Rolex, and my last birthday gift from him. This is it. I think it’s one of the carousel horse collections.
I’m wearing the Elsa Peretti black lacquer earrings from the same collection as the bracelet. Feeling kind of matchy matchy today. The bangle is wood painted in black lacquer and made in Japan. Paired with the “Ripped off by Chanel” bracelet from JKC. I believe the story behind it is: JKC was consulted by Chanel regarding her signature scrim shaw style, and then Chanel ripped her off. This is probably her most well known bracelet.
