My apologies in advance. I have this stupid digital camera at my shop so I figured “what the heck, I’ll give you all some more of my face.” Then I filmed myself with something sticking me in the eye.

Here’s the basic script for those who can’t watch videos:
-Greeting
-Something sticks me in the eye (probably my own bangs)
-Bracelets
-Long shot of my collarbone as I fumble with the off switch

12.11.14 stormy weather

It is rainy in SF which means our entire city has ground to a halt. We don’t know how to handle weather! If there is any truer statement about San Francisco, please let me know. I didn’t go to work today because the shop has no power. Correction, I did go to work today, discovered I had no power, and returned home.

My dogs refuse to go outside to take care of business. Chihuahuas, I tell ya. These raincoats are purely decorative.

Here’s a car swimming thru the intersection. My picture is terrible, I apologize.

Finally, a life tip from me to you. When you buy a salad, turn it upside down to eat so you get the boring stuff out of the way first. You are welcome.

Today’s bracelets are a turquoise Taxco cuff, and a green stone (what is this stone?) and silver bracelet also from Mexico.

Isn’t this just dinky, and sad, and adorable, and pathetic, and cute? I love the Halloween décor that I encounter on my walk to work. But especially this one! It’s like somebody received a fragment of the Halloween memo. Yes, this tiny pumpkin is all by itself and decorated with stickers. Stickers! But still it sits proudly on the front stoop. Step to the beat of a different drum, tiny pumpkin!

Today on my wrist I’m wearing an orange Hermès Calèche, three turquoise and silver cuffs- the biggest one is from Taxco the others are Native American, and an orange Clic-Clac.

Today my UP gets a moment in the spotlight! It goes with the little turquoise bracelet so I figured, what the heck? It’s paired with my dad’s watch, which it turns out I have to wear to keep the time running. I’m also wearing a little Native American silver and turquoise cuff, and my asymmetrical brass wire cuff from Goodwill.

Dude, I am dragging today. My mom would blame the low barometric pressure and this funky weather we’re having in Sauna Francisco. It’s so warm! Hot even! And with our drought going on, I’m worried. I woke up the other morning smelling smoke, convinced something nearby was on fire. But it was a remanent of a dream. I blame my dragging on staying awake too late last night. And the low barometric pressure, I think my mom is right on that one.

Great news though, I sold a painting yesterday! So I hustled my butt this morning to get it to the shippers before work. Here it is below, it has a highly reflective surface so the glare is huge. Farewell “The Sub”! Hope you enjoy your new home in Minnesota! Better you than me!

Today’s bangles: turquoise and silver cuff stamped by Marie B., turquoise and silver bracelet my dad got in Mexico, and a silver and maybe amber cuff a former roommate picked up for me in Thailand.

9.13.14 Dateless Day

Finally my replacement UP arrived! To celebrate this fact, I’m all over turquoise… in the wristular area.
Left hand: silver & turquoise dating back to when I was in grade school and mad for turquoise, and a Tiffany’s chain of hearts from my dad.

Right hand: boy this picture was hard to take. I really feel for all you lefties out there. Each time I rotated my ipad the picture button jumped away from me. Anyways, brand new replacement UP and my Cape Cod watch whose time may or may not be correct. I’m pretty loose when it comes to things like “time” and “measures”

It’s hot here today but I expect the fog will roll in later. Today’s bangles are mostly cuffs: xo Elsa Peretti, turquoise cuff I got in Maine when I was about ten, turquoise and silver bracelet from Mexico, and the horn bangles.

But look at me!

I’m matching ear, neck and wrist! A turquoise heart necklace my mama gave me, and H&M hoop earrings.

I don’t know where my mom found the necklace but here’s something similar from Etsy for $6!
Dood, and it’s two for the price of one… Somebody should jump on that.
